Are any of these situations familiar to you or someone you know?
- The first anniversary of your teenage daughter’s death is almost here. You wish you knew how you and her friends could acknowledge the heart aches and honour her sweet essence.
- A kindergarten child, in your son’s class was killed by a speeding car. You want something creative that each child can contribute to the grieving parents.
One very special candle making activity is to for each person to roll a small candle, similar to a birthday candle. Into each candle goes a quality or feeling contributed by each one present. This could also be integrated into a memorial service. Candles can be lit to remember the one they love as the loving qualities are spoken aloud.
